Community Chorale of the Catskills Holiday Concert directed by Richard Tucker. Seasonal choral music featuring the premiere of Winter Evening by Dr. Gerald Custer, commissioned by the Chorale for this concert. The Chorale will be accompanied by an instrumental ensemble. 7:30 pm at the Margaretville United Methodist Church. A free-will offering will be accepted.

The 2019 Annual Hobart Holiday Market and Gift Fair will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hobart Community Center, 80 Cornell Avenue in Hobart. Artists, farmers, bakers, and a variety of craft vendors will be selling jams, jellies, pies, maple food products, home-grown teas, paintings, greeting cards, handbags, unique and creative eco-friendly products, homemade and crafted gift items, and much more.

The Morton Memorial Library in Pine Hill Library hosts a “Big Holiday Event” from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Featured will be crafts for kids, pet adoption, local authors reading, a craft fair and more. For more information, visit

Santa arrives at the Roxbury Fire Department. His parade to the fire house gets underway at 4:30 p.m. followed by a holiday party at the fire house from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Catskill Recreation Center, Cty Rt. 38, Arkville from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.


Breakfast with Santa hosted by the Margaretville Central School Cheer Club. Join Santa for breakfast at the American Legion Hall on Main Street in Margaretville to make merry with vendors, face painting, pictures and more. The festivities start at 8:00 a.m.


Pine Hill Community Center presents Kim Hawkey in concert at 7:00 p.m. Hawkey and her band will perform their unique take on holiday favorites. Free will donations will be accepted.
