Seventh Annual Living History Cemetery Tours sponsored by the Historical Society of Middletown. (Rain date June 23.) Costumed actors will showcase the stories of historic community figures buried in the Margaretville Cemetery on Cemetery Road in the village. Tours get underway at 4:00 p.m and start every 20 minutes. Reservations are required and can be made by 845.586.4736.
The Delaware County Historical Society joins the 144th Volunteer Regiment for two days of living history activities and exhibits including three different re-enactments of Civil War battles involving Delaware County Troops. The grounds at DCHA open at 9:00 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday, June 23 with activities going until 4:00 p.m. Saturday nad 3:00 p.m. Sunday. The Stillmen play at Union Grove Distillery on Rt. 28 in Arkville from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The “houseband” of the distillery performs a combination of classic folk and bluegrass with their own original tunes on guitar, banjo, fiddle and often, violin.
Heart of the Catskills Humane Society will host a Wayside Cider Benefit for HCHS from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with drinking, dancing, and noshing to support the pet adoption program.

The Margaretville Fire Department Annual Field Days will take place from July 2 to July 7 in the Village Park. The carnival opens on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Pay One Price rides are Wednesday night from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday and Saturday will feature Firemen’s Chicken Barbeques starting at noon and going until sold out and local beer and cider tasting from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and giant fireworks displays at 9:30 p.m. Live Music will be featured on Thursday and Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
