On May 15, at about 1:05 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Tina Noble, 52, of Franklin, on charges of Obstructing Government Administration 2nd degree, and Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd degree. Noble is alleged to have unlawfully and forcefully detained a member of the Delaware County Child Protective Services Unit within her home in an attempt to prevent a public servant from performing an official function. Noble was later released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at Franklin Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

On May 18, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a Traffic Safety Checkpoint on State Highway 10 in the Town of Hamden. As a result of the Checkpoint, deputies arrested and charged Julian A. Georges, 21, of Hempstead, with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. Georges four passengers were also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Additionally, Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies issued 16 traffic violations for a variety of offenses ranging from operating with a driver’s view obstruction, operating with prohibited studded snow tires, uninspected motor vehicle, speeding, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motorcycle, and operating with an unregistered trailer. All defendants were released on tickets and are scheduled to appear at Hamden Town Court at a later date to answer the charges. Deputies were assisted with the Traffic Safety Checkpoint by members of the New York State Police.

On May 18, at approximately 11:47 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jesus Bracero, 43, of Syracuse, on one count of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (AUO) 2nd degree following a traffic stop on State Highway 17 in the Town of Colchester. He was additionally issued a ticket for speeding in a 55 mph zone. Bracero was arraigned in the Colchester Town Court and remanded to the Delaware County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 secured bond. Bracero is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Colchester Court at a later date.

Village of Delhi Police

On May 15, police arrested Shanair J. L. Hubbard, 19, of Brooklyn, and Destiny D. E. Pridgen, 18, of Bronx, for Petit Larceny after receiving a shoplifting complaint at the Price Chopper in Delhi. Hubbard and Pridgen were released on appearance tickets returnable to the Delhi Town Court.

On May 17, police arrested Bradley Northrup, 33, of Oneonta, for Grand Larceny 4th degree and Petit Larceny in relation to the theft and use of a bank card. Northrup was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Delhi Town Court.

On May 20, police arrested Kevin J. Campbell, 40, of Delhi, for Criminal Mischief 3rd degree and Assault 2nd degree in relation to a domestic. Campbell was arraigned at Delhi Town Court where he was remanded to the Delhi Town Court in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.

Village of Walton Police

On May 17, police arrested Shqiprim Mujaj Jr, 28, and Arlind Cosaj, 20, both of Bronx, on the charges of 4th degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, failure to stop at a STOP sign and window tint equipment violation as a result of an investigation from a traffic stop. Both subjects were arraigned at Walton Village Court and remanded to the Delaware County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond. They were scheduled to reappear on May 20.
