Mildred H. Little, 94, of Roxbury, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 at Mountainside Residential Care Center in Margaretville.
She was born in Guinda, California on September 25, 1913, the daughter of Richard Wilhelm Bloom and Charlotte May Wright.
She married Lawrence D. Little Jr. on January 8, 1946, in Redwood City, CA.
Mildred lived in Belle Mead, NJ before moving to Roxbury.
She was a member of Friends of Horticulture of Summerset County, NJ. Mildred enjoyed gardening, sewing and her dogs.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and the Rev. Richard Dykstra of Roxbury; two grandsons, David and Jonathan Dykstra; sisters-in-law, Lillian (Joseph) Forgacs, Dolores (John) Bowman and Martha Bloom. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Little Jr. on December 20, 1996 and her two daughters, Roberta and Carla Henry.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 9 at the Jay Gould Memorial Reformed Church in Roxbury, with the Rev. Wilbur Ivins officiating.
Committal services will be in Roxbury Cemetery at a later date.
