It was a week of upsets at The Meadows Golf Center in Margaretville where Bill Reed led league men’s league play when he shot a four under part for a net-score of 25. He was using his brand new putter after owner Russ Matson accidentally ran his old Jacobsen F10 over with a mower behind the ninth green. James Williams and Harry Saslow, who both have handicaps over 10, were able to finish with a net under par. The league average net score of 32.5 was slightly over the 90% threshold of 31.9.

There were 11 players in the skins pool of $55. Lenny Millen was the big winner with a par on #3. John Mulloy, James Williams, and Gary Hessberger rounded out the skins winners.
