US Attorney to meet with area teens

Alessandra Serano will address human and child trafficking

If you're the parent of teens, you should know the dangers they (especially the vulnerable ones) face at the hands of human traffickers. And they should know.... They should know how victims are lured into danger, how to avoid it, how to report it, and how to help others if they see it.
Assistant US Attorney Alessandra Serano will deliver a program specifically for teens Thursday, July 5, 2018, at 7:00 pm at the Community Room at Catskill Mountain Christian Center.

Serano's role with US Department of Justice is to coordinate the National Safe Child program and the nation's leading expert in the field.

In a world of where everyone is connected to a device and danger seems to be all over we can equip this generation with the tools necessary to keep them safe!

We encourage every young person to attend, ages 12 and up. The presentation is secular in nature and not geared to any religion at all. Teens of all faiths or no faith should hear what she has to say. Check out the story we wrote in this week's News.
