Friday, Dec. 22

First Presbyterian Church of Delhi will present an outdoor Living Nativity, complete with music and live animals, as a gift to the community and a reminder of the true meaning of the Christmas Season. Everyone is invited, located at 4 Clinton Street. This event will take place Friday and Saturday from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. For more information, to take part in the scene or to assist with the preparations, please contact the church office at 607-746-2155. A Food Box will be available at the scene for donations to the community food bank.

Guys Shopping Night in Visit Margaretville 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be personalized shopping help, free gift wrapping and treats.

Saturday, Dec. 23rd

Cannon Free Library is hosting Bingo Party 11a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on 40 Elm St. in Delhi. There will be refreshments at the library, and fun for the whole family.

Monday, Dec. 25th

Jay Gould Memorial Reformed Church will have two services on Christmas Eve day, one at 10 a.m. and one at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to this joyous event located at 53837 NY-30.

Tuesday, Dec. 26th

Cross Roads Café is extending their Pop Up hours from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. for the holiday shoppers. You can find Cross Roads Café at 80 Main Street in Delhi.

Wednesday, Dec. 27th

Volkswagen presents Warrens Miller’s “Line of Descent,” hosted by the Union Grove Distillery on 43311 NY 28. This is Warren Miller’s latest 2017 full feature ski film. There will only be one showing at 7 p.m. Join fellow skiers and boarders for this exciting event of skiing and riding. Ski Plattekill and Belleayre will be on hand with discount tickets for every ticket holder.

Friday, Dec 29th

Bloom: Fabric, Art and Retreat will host Winter Star Workshop at 724 Main Street. No sewing necessary, children are welcome with an adult. 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. For reservations: 586-6000 or send us a Facebook message.

Margaretville Telephone Company will host their Annual Food Drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 579 Main Street, Margaretville. Help replenish local food pantries, bring any donations of non-perishable goods such as rice, pasta, beans, canned goods (fruits, vegetables, soup) peanut butter, cereal, spaghetti sauce and juices to the MTC business office. The Phoenicia Library is hosting a Kids Movie Night: The Emoji Movie from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on 48 Main Street, Phoenicia. There are free snacks and movie tickets on a big screen.
