David Conover

David J. Conover, age 73, passed away suddenly on Monday, Sept 4, 2017 at Albany Medical Center with his family by his side. Born in Mt. Holly, NJ, he lived most of his life in Pemberton, NJ then retired to Andes, NY. He graduated from Rancocas Valley High School in 1964, more recently serving on their alumni committee. He then continued on to graduate from RCA Electronic School. David worked for the Burlington County Superintendent Board of Elections for over 25 years. He also owned Conover Electronics, a television and electronic repair shop. He was a lifetime member of United Methodist Church and attended Cabin Hill Presbyterian Church of DeLancey, NY. David was proud member of Mt. Holly Masonic Lodge #14, ELKS lodge 848, Burlington County Shrine Club and Scottish Rite Freemasonry. While living in Pemberton, he also served several terms as Burlington County committeeman.

Never afraid to speak his mind, David was direct and honest but always there to pick you up if you fell. He had a compassionate soul with a great love for nature, animals, mechanics, and especially his family. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph L. Conover (1991) and Grace Conover (1968). He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Yoshie Conover; daughter Theresa Conover and husband Ryan Messinger of High Bridge, NJ; daughter Joeline Conover Riley and husband Scott Riley of Lancaster, PA; beloved granddaughters Caden, Kelsey, and Avery Messinger and Emi Riley; siblings April Bridges and June Gaskill; uncles James Shinn and Arthur Shinn; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Cabin Hill Presbyterian Church, (Fall Clove Rd) 7615, County Rd 2, DeLancey, NY 13752, on Sunday Oct. 15 beginning at 2:00 p.m.
