Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested George H. Robinson, Sr., 43, of Delhi on August 1 on seven additional felony charges following their investigation of complaints received from the Delhi and Walton branch offices of the Sidney Federal Credit Union.

Robinson was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with six class D felony offenses of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree and one class D felony offense of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree. Robinson is accused of acting in concert with Justina M. Mastrorocco, 23, of Walton in stealing more than $3,000 from the Walton and Delhi branch offices of the Sidney Federal Credit Union by cashing six stolen and forged checks at those financial institutions.

Robinson was arrested in the county jail where he is currently being held on bail following his arrest by deputies on July 21 and will be arraigned in the Town of Delhi Court at a later time.

Two Village of Walton residents were arrested on July 27 by Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies on drug possession charges. On Thursday afternoon members of the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation and Patrol Divisions were conducting interviews at 84 North Street in Walton as part of their investigation into a Town of Delhi burglary when they observed narcotics in plain view.

Following further investigation, deputies and investigators arrested and charged Frank W. Mastrorocco, 27, and Misty R. Jackson, 23, with the class A misdemeanor offenses of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Heroin) and Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument. Jackson was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.

Mastrorocco, who was under the supervision of the New York State Division of Parole, was subsequently arrested on a Parole Revocation Warrant that was issued following his arrest by members of the sheriff’s office Thursday afternoon. Mastrorocco was released from New York State Prison in September 2016, after serving part of a three-year prison sentence imposed following his felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree conviction earlier that year.

Mastrorocco and Jackson were arraigned in the Town of Colchester Court and were remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,000.00 cash bail pending further action by the Village of Walton Court.

Members of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office were assisted by members of the Walton Police Department and Delaware County Probation Department.
