Wednesday, Oct. 21 Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties will celebrate the grand opening of a new office at 19 Union Street, Sidney with an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 4:30-7 p.m. Live music and refreshments. The Andes Roundtable presents one of its facilitators, Bill Piervincenzi. Bill is a retired professor of biology who has presented to the Roundtable many times in the past. This week his topic will be “The Biological Basis of Human Morality. Are we merely robots with a soul?” A discussion will follow. Hunting Tavern, 7 p.m.

Roxbury Central School will hold a parent school climate forum at 6 p.m. to discuss the results of the climate survey conducted last spring. Refreshments will be served.

A Meet The Candidates Night sponsored by the Middletown Political Action Committee will be held on from 6-8 p.m. at the American Legion Hall on Main Street, Margaretville. Refreshments.

Saturday, Oct. 31 Andes’ famous Harvest Moon Ball at 7 p.m. at the Andes Hotel. $10 adults, $5 kids. Bring a dish to pass. Music, dancing, costume contest, photo booth, piñata and more fun than you can handle! No reservations needed. Just come on down. Proceeds to benefit Andes Dollars for Scholars.

Andes Hotel’s Annual Halloween Costume Party with Cranston Dean Band at 9 p.m. Don’t miss the fun, be here for a spook-tacular good time!
