Warren W. Weaver, 39, of Gulfport, MS was arrested by state police on July 2 and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend at her home on county Route 1 in the Town of Andes.

Police say Weaver chocked the victim to the point where she had visible red marks on her neck.

Weaver was arraigned in Town of Andes Justice Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail to await further court action. An order of protection was issued by the court.

Kevin G. Vecchione, 28, of Hobart was arrested by state police on July 9 and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest following a two car property damage accident in the parking lot of the Family Dollar store in Stamford.

Police say that Vecchione, a passenger in one of the cars, was visibly upset and screamed obscenities and racial slurs at the driver of the other car and refused to be quiet when ordered to do so by a trooper. Police went on to say that Vecchione then resisted arrest by locking himself in the car when a trooper tired to take him into custody.

He was arraigned in Town of Stamford Justice Court and released to reappear at a later date.

Dominick R. Stannard, 47, of Davenport was arrested by state police on July 4 and charged with DWI after he was stopped on South Worcester Hill road in the Town of Harpersfield for having a loud exhaust.

Troopers report that they charged Stannard when his blood alcohol level allegedly tested .11 percent.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Harpersfield Justice Court at a later date.

Megan Cronk, 17, of Grand Gorge and Daniel W. Tompkins, 19, of Gilboa were arrested by state police on July 11 and charged with unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21 after police received a call from a witness who said that they had been observed walking along Route 30 in Roxbury possession and drinking alcohol.

Both were issued appearance tickets returnable in Roxbury Court on August 5 at 7 p.m.
