“Food for Thought with Ann Epner,” a Writers in the Mountains workshop, will be held from 10 a.m.-noon at the Fairview Library on Walnut Street, Margaretville. Particpants will read some of the classics and write in any genre that pleases them. The only rule is that the writing be food-related. Bring a short piece to the first class. The Reel Artist Film Series in the Hilt Kelly Hall of The Roxbury Arts Center continues at 1:30 p.m. with a screening of “Séraphine,” followed by a Q&A facilitated by Jonathan Starch. This film tells the story of so-called Séraphine de Senlis, who was working as a maid in a grand house in Paris when her paintings were discovered by art dealer Wilhelm Uhde.
