Particpants will read some of the classics and write in any genre that pleases them. The only rule is that the writing be food-related. Bring a short piece to the first class. No previous writing experience needed. $65.

The Andes Roundtable will present a 63-minute documentary film entitled “The Billboard from Bethlehem,” about an American billboard company that empowers Israeli soldiers and Palestinian resistance fighters to gather children and paint a giant peace mural in the West Bank. This is not a film that takes sides, but rather simply praises the idea of trying to solve problems peacefully.
