“Food for Thought with Ann Epner,” a Writers in the Mountains workshop, will be held from 10 a.m.-noon at the Fairview Library on Walnut Street, Margaretville. Particpants will read some of the classics and write in any genre that pleases them. The only rule is that the writing be food-related. Bring a short piece to the first class. Longyear Gallery hosts a reception for a “Group Show” in from 4-7 p.m. its gallery in the Commons Building at 785 Main Street, Margaretville. The show and reception are part of the multi-arts “Art in Common” Saturday event series that will continue through out the winter and spring in the Commons Building. Refreshments will be available. Erin Mckeown returns to The Roxbury Arts Group at 7:30 p.m. to kick off the singer/songwriter series.
