Village elections are March 16

There is only one announced race in village elections in Margaretville and Fleischmanns that will be held on Tuesday, March 16 from noon to 9 p.m. at the respective village offices.
In Fleischmanns, three candidates have submitted petitions to fill a pair of trustee positions. Incumbents Fred Woller and Harriet Grossman will be seeking re-election to two-year terms. Also in the running for one of the trustee posts is John Granito, who formerly served as Fleischmanns’ mayor.
Margaretville will also be filling two trustee positions. The only candidates filing petitions for these positions are incumbents Fred G. Miller and David Budin.
