Toy drive a great success

To The Editor:
My name is Joshua Slater. A few weeks ago my friend Josh Harp and I held a bake sale in order to raise money to buy toys for children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Maria Ferreri Children’s Hospital in Westchester.

I am writing this letter as a thank you to everybody who gave money, bought baked goods, or donated toys. All of your generous contributions have gone a great distance in our cause. All together we had 17 toys donated, and raised just under $1,100 to buy toys for these children.

We have already done the shopping and brought the toys to the hospital. The staff members there were all extremely grateful, and very impressed with all of the toys that you all made it possible to donate.
Thank you again.
Joshua Slater
and Josh Harp,
