Texas Tenors from 'America's Got Talent' at Belleayre

Highmount – The Texas Tenors skyrocketed to national fame as the top vocal act in the history the “America’s Got Talent” hit TV show and the group brings its engaging show to the Belleayre Music Festival on Saturday, Aug. 18 at 8 p.m.

The group won the hearts of millions with melodic three-part harmonies and Texas charm in 2009.  Since then, they have brought their modern interpretation of country and classical music with shows all over the world.

The Texas Tenors are comprised of Marcus Collins, JC Fisher and John Hagen. The trio performed together only a few times before auditioning for “America’s Got Talent,” then went on to become the highest ranking vocal group in the history of the show.
Their unique blend of country and classical music captivated millions, making their debut CD “Country Roots/Classical Sound” the only album to ever be No. 1 on both the Country and Classical Charts as tracked by CD Baby.

Mixing country and classical music with their own Texas Tenor flavor, they auditioned with aspirations of winning over the judges and sharing their fresh new act with all of America.
JC, a family man with his Texan wife and two sons, currently lives in Kansas. Born and raised on a cattle ranch, he relies on his family’s strong foundation of hard work and faith to guide his everyday life.

John, considered the rock of the group, brings a wealth of classical music training along with his baritone voice. He divides his time between performing, spending time with family and running a small art gallery in Cedar Falls, IA.

The concert will be preceded by the Belleayre Car Show from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The car show has free admission and there is special ticket pricing for the Texas Tenors show available to car show participants.
