Frost Valley traces its roots to 1901, when it was established one of the nation’s first summer camps for children. More than a century later, the organization remains true to the Y mission and its nonprofit commitment to bring children of all backgrounds and abilities together in an enriching, life-changing community of summer camp. Financial assistance is available.
Sleepaway camp is offered in four two-week sessions during the summer and include Traditional Camping, Theater Arts Camp, and Equestrian Programs and a special option called Adventure Village. At the Frost Valley Farm, campers live in yurts right on the farm where they take part in the growing, care and feeding chores along with farm crafts and traditional camp activities. An Adventure Trips program with expanded travel camp offerings brings children to hiking, boating and service learning treks throughout the northeast and across the globe.
