Storytelling Troupe plays in Andes

Andes — The Community Storytelling Troupe will showcase its cadre of performers at a special performance featuring all the current members of the troupe on Friday, Nov. 13 at 6:30 p.m., at the Hunting Tavern on Main Street, Andes.
Youth and adult Community Storytelling Troupe members will regale listeners with tales at a free concert geared to family audiences.
Both new and veteran troupe members will enchant the crowd with a repertoire of stories they’ve been developing in their Wednesday night workshops. Hunting Tavern is adjacent to the NBDC Bank in Andes.
Now in its second season, the Community Storytelling Troupe has been achieving its goal of reviving the ancient tradition of storytelling here in Delaware County. The troupe has received numerous requests to appear at a wide-range of venues, including The Arc of Delaware County, The Delhi Historical Society, The Delaware County Youth Bureau Annual Banquet and the Andes Tree Lighting & Main Street Holiday Festivities. The concert on Friday, Nov. 13 is free and open to all ages.
