Steep price for gas sellout

To The Editor:
What’s all the fracking fuss?

Here’s the story. Once the mega gas corporations buy off our government, they get the high sign to drill baby drill.  But wait, it gets better.
Once the gas billionaires are finished turning a pristine rural landscape into an industrial wasteland we discover what’s left.

The air is polluted, the water poisoned and the soil radioactive. And oh yes, there is an added bonus to all of this destruction: the houses and the land where the drilling took place are rendered unsalable!
I would say that’s quite a steep price to pay for a pittance of a payment up front!
