Special activities planned for Fleischmanns on Aug 14
Fleischmanns — The Fleischmanns Market on Main is flourishing on Main Street at the gazebo every Sunday. More and more people come each week to enjoy the sweet corn, peaches, tomatoes, baked goods, tea, berries, squash, beets, peppers and lots more wonderful products including great conversation. The market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Sunday.
On August 14, Debbie Bauer will be bubble-making with the kids and lots of fun will be had. Katherine Somelofski will be candle making with the children using sheets of bees wax on August 21 and August 28, Tabitha Gilmore-Barnes will be back again cooking up some luscious meals. Then on Sept 4, John Knapp will be instructing kids on how to make their own Jacob’s ladder, using wood, ribbon and nails. All materials will be supplied and everyone will take home their very own working toy.
So join us for upbeat music with attitude, local produce and conversation at Fleischmanns’ Market on Main, made possible in part by grants from A. Lindsay and Olive B. O’Connor Foundation and The Pasternak Family Foundation. All events are free.
