Sam Baker plays at Ballantine Park concert
Andes — Sam Baker is returning to Andes to share the stage with Scott Hill for a concert benefiting Ballantine Park on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m.
Sam Baker is an Austin-based singer-songwriter who enjoys a devoted and extensive following in North America and Europe. With his debut album, “Mercy,” released in 2004, Sam was touted as the best singer-songwriter of the decade. In 2007, Sam followed up with another devastatingly beautiful CD, “Pretty World.” Sam’s newly released CD, “Cotton,” completes the vision of his trilogy.
Monetary donations will be welcomed at the event. All proceeds from the concert will go directly to “Friends of Ballantine Park” fund. This fund pays for upkeep of the park and its community activities.
