Roxbury to unveil renovated barns

Roxbury — The Town of Roxbury, the MARK Project and Greater Roxbury Business Association will host a “Picnic in the Park,” on Tuesday, July 23 at 4:30 p.m., at Kirkside Park.

The event will unveil the newly renovated barns, and will honor Tom Hynes for his long time achievements as town supervisor. Beaverdam Builders will also be acknowledged for their role in the renovation project.

There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony, music, and food. You can bring your own picnic, or purchase delicious food items provided by the Ate-O-Ate truck. The Ate-O-Ate truck will provide complimentary lemonade and iced tea. Anthony and Lynette Hinkley Liberatore will also be present to sign copies of their new book on the history of Roxbury.
