Margaret Carmeli and daughter, Rebecca, spent the week with her parents, Tony and Ruth Carmeli. Rebecca attended the children’s studio art camp at the Andes Hunting Tavern Museum for the week.

They also attended the Delaware County Fair at Walton one evening.

It has been reported that Danny Underwood is doing well at Robinson Terrace but hasn’t as yet put any weight on his leg.

George and Julia Brower returned home Sunday from a two-week bus trip which began at Salt Lake City. They attended the performance of the Tabernacle Choir there. They also went to Las Vegas and toured through California and up through Utah visiting several national parks.

Catherine Fleming of Wells Bridge, who taught several of the residents in this school district during her 12-year period of teaching, celebrated her 96th birthday at her home Saturday. She is in good health and had a phone conversation with one of her former students Monday evening.

Word has been received that Iva Martin, a former longtime Roxbury resident, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 8.
