George and Julia Brower returned to their home on Lake Street this past weekend after spending the winter in Polk City, Fla. George told his neighbor, ‚ÄúIt is good to be back home.‚Äù
The annual spring Luncheon Card Party to benefit the Roxbury Senior Citizens Club will be held at the Firehall on Wednesday, April 30 from 12 to 4 p.m. Those who are not members of the club are welcome to participate. For details, call the Club President, Connie Spinelli, at 607.326.3407.
The Walt Meade Gallery at RAG, Vega Mountain Road, will have a reception on Saturday, April 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. to open an exhibition of works by artists Diana Cozzens and David Kenny. The paintings will hang through Sunday, June 8. For details, phone RAG at 607.326.7908.
The Catskill Community Garden Club‚Äôs annual dinner and dance will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 6 to 11 p.m. at The Roxbury Arts Group‚Äôs Hilt Kelly Hall on Vega Mountain Road. The event is open to the public. Catering is by Mary‚Äôs Cookin‚Äô Again. Live dance music is by Onkor. Cost is $45 per person.
