Dean Stahl of Stamford, son of Gordy and Rose Stahl, fell approximately 17 feet while shoveling off his house roof and landed on his frozen driveway. He broke his heel bones on both feet. The first operation is scheduled for March 15.
Bea Hinkley is at home recuperating from a broken leg and in her own words, is “recovering nicely.”
Tom Hynes, the man who wears numerous hats, actually took a four-day golfing vacation to Las Vegas recently.
Ed Sturn’s daughter, Debbie, and son-in-law, Sean, came up from Long Island with two snowblowers to clear his driveway. Ed lives on Pekrul Road.
Teri Frevert of Rochester spent the weekend as a guest of Elton Ridge. She came to visit her mother, Louise, at Mountainside Residential Care Center.
Vincent and Anne Snyder and Esther Snyder attended the talent show at Andes Central School Friday evening. Tamara Snyder and Janice Armstrong were in charge of the program. The show was presented to a packed auditorium that included students, parents and community members.
