Pottery and photo workshops at Farmer's Market

Halcottsville — Chris Parrow will show how various techniques and hand building pottery and can be used to create one-of-a-kind pieces on Saturday, Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Pakatakan Farmers’ Market at the Round Barn in Halcottsville.
Also, Catskill Images proprietor Jill Ribich will explain what it takes to get a great aerial photograph.
Chris Parrow Studio produces handmade pottery, especially functional, wheel-thrown forms, including lamps, vases, pitchers, mugs, bowls and platters. Hand-built ceramics, including sculptural Catskill Mountain landscapes, decorative tiles, and wall pockets, are all inspired by the natural beauty of the region.
