Pine Hill Community Center hosting family-friendly events

The Pine Hill Community Center will be hosting a series of holiday events to help raise funds for the center’s various programming, including helping them make their building more energy efficient.
The events are the Third Annual Chili Fest on November 15 from 1 to 5 p.m., a Local Arts and Crafts Fair featuring the work of local artists and crafters on November 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Songs of the Earth pasta dinner and concert featuring James Krueger, Evan Pritchard and the Princes of Serendip on December 6 from 5 to 8 p.m., and Catskill Community Radio’s Catskill Cabaradio on December 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. The center will also be selling handmade botanical holiday table centerpieces throughout this time. The centerpieces are made under the direction of master arranger Bonnie Schaedle.

The Pine Hill Community Center has been offering diverse activities for all ages since 2000. The center serves the communities of the Central Catskills, though people have come from as far away as Ithaca to attend programs. They have a Community Technology Center, offer classes and workshops in the arts, outdoor activities and run an Internet radio station.
