Pine Hill Arms Triathlon is Saturday

Belleayre — The annual Pine Hill Arms Triathlon takes off this Saturday, March 21. This is a unique iron-man style triathlon that should not be missed by area athletes. Participants can compete as individuals or as teams. Over 100 participants will participate in this challenging “ski-bike-run” event.
Tri-athletes will begin their race on skis from the top of the Tomahawk lift exactly at 1:30 p.m., crossing the Belleayre Ridge trail and riding downhill to find their bikes at the Discovery Lodge.
After the grueling 10-mile bike ride, down from Belleayre through the winding Highmount roads into Pine Hill then back to Belleayre, runners will ascend back down to Pine Hill completing the final five-mile run.
The Pine Hill Arms will host all participants with an awards party, gourmet bayou buffet, live music, and dancing. Registration on competition day will be held in the Longhouse Lodge from 9 a.m. until noon.
