Paulette Mattice
Paulette Ann Mattice, 58, of Gilboa, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at her residence. She was born July 7, 1951 in Margaretville, the daughter of Elwood and Ruth (Miller) Clark. She was the loving wife of Arthur Mattice, whom she married Dec. 14, 1969 in Gilboa.
Paulette attended Gilboa Central School.
She was a loyal employee of Audio-Sears for 33 years. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, day trips and spending time with her family.
She will be loved and in our hearts always.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur Mattice, Gilboa; sons, Rodney and Michele Mattice, Gilboa, Brian Mattice, Gilboa, Christopher (Scott) and Emily Mattice, Roxbury, Chad Mattice and Leigh Potter, Gilboa; nine grandchildren, Amber, Heather, Taylor, Sierra, Christina, Madison, Jan, Morghan and Eben; sister of eight siblings, Elwood Jr. (Sparky) Clark, Linda Phillips, Helen Alexander, Jean Ballard, Lori Young, Valerie Clark and David Clark and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Elwood and Ruth Clark; one son, Joseph Mattice and a sister, Peggy Clark.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Jay Gould Memorial Reformed Church, Roxbury, with the Rev. Richard A. Dykstra, officiating.
Committal service will be at a later date.
Donations may be made in memory of Paulette Ann Mattice to the Catskill Area Hospice.
Arrangements were by Miller Funeral Home, Roxbury.
