Paul M. Brinley, 47, of Andes, N.Y., and Galveston, Texas. died suddenly on Monday, Jan. 18 2010 of a massive cerebral aneurysm. A member of the Andes Central School class of 1980, he graduated with high honors from Colgate University in 1984, majoring in finance and economics. He was then employed by national financial and insurance firms as a Directors and Officers specialist, winning many awards for his success in that field.
He moved to Texas in 2000 and started a national consulting firm in that same industry, serving many of the nation’s major corporations.
Following his gift of organs to the University of Texas Southwest Medical School for their donor program, his remains were cremated under the supervision of Paradigm Funeral Home, Houston, Texas.
Surviving are his parents, Robert and Diana Brinley of Beech Hill Road, Andes; five brothers and a sister, John of Manchester, N.H., Robert M. Jr. of Garfield, N.J., Leesa and husband Dr. Bradford Haire of Silver City, N.M., Steven and wife Pam of Arlington, Va., David A. and wife, Michelle of Garland, Texas and Mark A. and wife Andrea of Crosby, Texas. Also surviving are 14 nieces and nephews and one grandniece.
A memorial service to celebrate his life and legacy, attended by many members of his family and friends, was held on Friday, Jan. 22 at the Clear Lake United Methodist Church of Clear Lake, Texas, with the Rev. Anthony Vinson officiating.

He will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched.
