NYC comedienne offers workshop and show at RAG

Roxbury — Adrianne Tolsch, a New York City comedienne with a stiletto wit, will perform at The Roxbury Arts Group on Saturday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. She will also offer a comedy workshop on the basic principles of improvisation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tickets for the performance are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. Tuition for the workshop is $25 and preregistration is required.
Adrianne Tolsch began her career in New York City at Catch a Rising Star and The Improv. She has headlined at every major comedy club in the United States, as well as casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Adrianne has performed as far away as London, Melbourne, and Hobart, Tasmania. She has been the opening act for Jay Leno, The Pointer Sisters, Bobby Vinton, Pat Cooper and Billy Crystal.
Tolsch garnered rave reviews for her performance on Broadway in “3 From Brooklyn” at the Helen Hayes Theatre and co-hosted the syndicated radio show “The Better Sex.” She has received two Bistro Awards and three Manhattan Association of Cabaret Awards for Outstanding Comedy Perform-ance. Most recently, she was honored with the 2004 Cabaret Hotline Award for her first one-woman show “Trucks, Guns and Mayonnaise,” and again in 2006 for her second show, “None of Your Damn Business,” a hilarious look at getting older.
Currently, Tolsch is a regular cast member of the hit Off-Broadway revue, “The JAP Show,” where critics call her running family commentary hilarious.
