Margaretville-New Kingston Presbyterian Church will hold Maundy Thursday services tomorrow with a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. and Tenebrae service at 7 p.m. They will be having Good Friday service at 12 noon to 1 p.m. There will be Easter Sunday service at 9:30 a.m. These services will be held in the Margaretville church.
Margaretville-New Kingston Women‚Äôs Circle met at the home of Barbara Kapitko last week Wednesday and they also made Easter favors for the patients at the Residential Care Center. Tuesday, the day before, the Foxey Ladies Group met at Barbara‚Äôs and also made favors.
Extended sympathy to Larry and Linda Kelly and his sister Janice and family. Their father Lyndon Kelly passed away last Friday.
On Sunday, March 9, Betty Elliott accompanied her son-in-law and daughter Roy and Sally Scrimshaw of Delhi, to Kingston to her son-in-law and daughter John and Jackie. They also attended a play that her grandson Danny Helmer took part in. The name of the play was ‚ÄúHow to Succeed in Business without Really Trying.‚Äù Her daughter Marjorie Trelease and daughter Hilary of Delhi accompanied them.
Frank and Rosemary Wisniewski of Highland Falls spent Saturday night and Sunday with her mother, Wanda Lanzi.
John and Dianne Ericson and son Scott of Stamford took her parents Bud and Jean Gray to Oneonta Sunday for dinner to celebrate their 61st anniversary. They also attended a movie.
Doug and Barb Condon visited Marian Schwarz at Delhi last week Tuesday.
