Margaretville-New Kingston Presbyterian Church is having a rummage sale Saturday at the Margaretville Church on Orchard Street from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
New Kingston Valley Grange is having a game night Wednesday at six p.m. Anyone interested in playing, please come, you don’t have to be a member.
Tom Lawton and son Nathan of Newark Valley, were Thursday afternoon visitors of Faye Van Benschoten and son Andy.
Maryann Schmiser of Naponoch spent Friday with her mother Faye Van Benschoten and son Andy.
Shirley Davis, accompanied by Wanda Lanzi, attended a family gathering at Cecil and Carol Davis’ at Bloomville. Carol’s mother, the former Ruth Barkman, now lives in Schenectady. She was a New Kingston gal who lived on Jensen Road, also her sister-in-law, Mrs. George (Rosie Barkman of Mesa, Arizona. She was Rose Carmody and 60 years ago lived with the Lanzis and attended Margaretville School and graduated from there.
John Hood of South Carolina visited Bill and Betty Elliott this past week. He was formerly of Delhi.
Robert Etherson and Christopher Shataka of Lindenhurst, LI, and Megan Jones of West Islip spent Saturday night with Wanda Lanzi.
The Grange sewing group will be meeting July 31 at 10:30 a.m. at the hall.
