New Kingston Valley Grange held its regular meeting Thursday night, July 2. A potluck supper was at 6 p.m., with the meeting following.
Sandra Greene, lecturer, held a quiz on the presidents and announced the July birthdays: Barbara Condon, the 19th; Edwin Vermilyea, the 21st and Barbara Kapitko the 30th.
July anniversaries: Ron and Karen Hull, the 6th, Edwin and Janet Vermilyea, the 13th and Fred and JoAnn Lanzi the 17th.
Secretary Janet Vermilyea read a letter from Robert and MaryAnn Halpern. She also reported on the June Pomona meeting.
For the monthly activity of June the Chairman, Barbara Clark, had Fran Faulkner show pictures and speak about her three-month cruise around the world, which was very interesting.
The chairman announced that there will be a card and game party July 22 at 6 p.m.
The sewing group will meet on July 24 at 10:30 a.m.
Julie McDermott and son Jason and daughter Jessica and friends of New Jersey spent the weekend with her mother, Blossom Sherman.
Dave and Georgia Taylor attended the annual Soil and Water picnic Saturday, July 4 at Walton.
Charles and Kathy Gray of Roanoke, Va. Spent last week with his mother, Jean Gray and his father, Bud, at Mountainside.
Bill and Betty Elliott spent last weekend at Canandaigua where they attended the wedding of a relative.
Chuck and MaryAnn Schmiser of Napanoch spent the 4th of July with her mother and son Andy, and also celebrated Andy’s birthday.
Norma King and daughters Melissa and Jennifer of Rockville, Md. spent from Friday to Monday with her parents Doug and Barb Condon.
