Liberta M. Jaeger

Liberta M. Jaeger, 85, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011 at Edwards Hospital in Illinois.

A native and lifelong area resident, she was born February 17, 1926 in Allaben, daughter of the late Russell and Myrtle Bush Frasier Sr.

Liberta was a hard and dedicated worker, who spent many years along with her husband, working at Timber Lake Camp in Shandaken. She appreciated the beauty of nature, loved the outdoors and was a longtime hunter in the Catskills. Later in life she and her husband, Robert would winter in Florida.

Surviving are her daughter, Bonita Murphy of Naperville, IL; a sister, Geraldine Dunham of Kingston, NY; a brother, Linden Frasier of Bakersfield, CA and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 2000 and her siblings, Charles, Russell Jr., James, John and Sarah Craig.

A graveside ceremony will be conducted in the spring at the Westkill Cemetery.
