Jewelry Artists at Work

The Catskill Mountain Artisans’ Guild presents “Jewelry Artists at Work” from 3-6 p.m. throughout the Commons Building at 785 Main Street, Margaretville. Three fine craft artisans, Barbara Petrini, Sherril Berry-Wysong and Ruthy Freund will demonstrate jewelry techniques ranging from crocheting, beading, wrapped crystals to brass and cooper coiling. Longyear Gallery member artist Gerda van Leeuwen will also demonstrate her wire and rubber jewelry creations. Local cheesemakers will share their goods with support from the Center for Agricultural Development and Entrepreneurship and the New York Farm Viability Institute.
