Interfaith Council plans Thanksgiving dinner
Margaretville — The third annual community-wide free Thanksgiving Day dinner will be held Thursday, Nov. 22 from noon until 2 p.m. at the Purcell Center, 61 Academy
Street in Margaretville. This dinner is sponsored by the Interfaith Council and is free and open to everyone. Take-out dinners will be available.
Community volunteers are seeking help in preparing for the dinner. If you can donate
a pie or help set up, serve or clean up on that day, please contact Rae Brenner at 607 326-7310. You will be invited to share in this community Thanksgiving dinner.
Donations to the Interfaith Council to help fund this dinner are welcome. All donations are tax deductible and will be used for the cost of the dinner. Make your check payable to Interfaith Council and mail it to: Rev. Richard Dykstra, PO Box 267, Roxbury, NY12474.
Reservations are encouraged and need to be made in advance. Call Carol at 586-3300 to make a reservation with the number of people who will be attending with you. Everyone is welcome.
