Indoor soccer is similar to outdoor, but there are differences. Indoor is played with a heavy ball called a futsal ball. The game is played in a gym using the lines of a basketball court for boundaries. Games are 15 minutes long, with four or five member teams. The game is played at quicker pace, with more passing and scoring.
The Academy Street entrance to MCS will open at 4:30 p.m. on Friday evening and 8 a.m. on Saturday with the first games at 8:30. There is no charge for admission, and the booster club will be selling an assortment of refreshments throughout the day.
