Helen Marie Aulino, a resident of Cobleskill, and formerly of Roxbury, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013 at Albany Medical Center.
Helen was born on April 18, 1935 at Paterson, NJ, the daughter of Cornelius and Helen (Garry) Tanis. She married Joseph T. Aulino Sr. on September 20, 1959 at Paterson, NJ. Joe died on October 31, 2010.
Helen was employed as an office assistant for Bright Star Battery in New Jersey and after moving to Roxbury she assisted her husband in operating Bates Real Estate. Helen lived in New Jersey before moving to Roxbury and had also lived in Florida and Cobleskill.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking, knitting, and doing crafts.
Surviving are a son and daughter in law, Joseph and Amy (Merklen) Aulino Jr.; a daughter, Roseanne Pells and granddaughters, Anna Marie and Lily Charlotte Aulino. Nieces and nephews also survive her.
Five brothers, William, Cornelius, James, Jack, and Robert predeceased her.
Calling hours were held at the Miller Funeral Home in Roxbury on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 from 4 until 7 p.m. A funeral service followed the calling hours at 7 p.m. The Rev. Richard Dykstra officiated.
A committal services was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at the Roxbury Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Miller Funeral Home, Roxbury.
