Healthcare reform seminars are scheduled

Delhi — During the month of July, the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, along with the Small Business Development Center and Mang Insurance Agency, will be traveling to different areas of Delaware County in regards to the Healthcare Reform Act. The major components of these seminars are Individual Mandates, Health Care Exchanges, Impacts to Employers and Tax Incentives.

There will be ongoing changes throughout the next year in regards to the Health Care Reform,” stated Mary Beth Silano, executive director of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce. Our members and business community have always been our first priority and holding seminars such as these will assist to keep them updated on critical changes in regards to healthcare that will affect their business,” Silano said.

Seminars will be held at the following locations: July 9, 4 to 5:30 p.m., Hobart Community Hall; July 11, 8 to 10 a.m., Hancock House Hotel; July 23, 9 to 11 a.m.. Sidney Public Library Community Room, and July 25, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., Middletown Town Hall.
