Frost Valley YMCA hosts Women's Wellness Weekend
Claryville —Frost Valley YMCA in Claryville will host its seventh annual Women’s Wellness Weekend from March 27-29.
The weekend amidst the idyllic atmosphere of the Catskill Mountain High Peaks presents a chance for participants to choose from a variety of workshops while also benefiting from the relaxing surroundings
This year’s programming will be provided by five featured presenters who will offer an assortment of workshop choices designed to help participants learn more about their inner selves.
Presenters will be: Priscilla Bright, MA, who will be the weekend’s lead facilitator. She employs emotional transformation experiences, drumming, creative arts and spiritual journeying in her workshops.
Judith Schafman, Ph.D., will host two sessions: “The Dream: Postcards from the Divine” and “The ABCs of Spiritual Connection: Getting Practical.
Marjorie T. Nieh, Ph.D., will offer a workshop titled “A Woman’s Self-Healing.
Local artist Sharon Suess will teach a watercolor class for “people who don’t paint.”
Sheri Ponzi’s workshop is called “Connecting With Your Guides and Angels.”
The Frost Valley Women’s Wellness Weekend will also include a host of other choices. These include: therapeutic massage, women’s health classes, art and drumming workshops and yoga. Participants can also view the early spring sky at the observatory, take a tour of the maple sugar shack or challenge themselves on climbing tower and zip-line.
The weekend is an all-inclusive package including lodging, programs and meals from a check-in snack on Friday evening, March 27 through Sunday lunch.
