Frost Valley hosts Holiday Dinner Friday, Dec. 13
Frost Valley YMCA in Claryville will host its first Community Holiday Dinner and Gathering on Friday, Dec. 13 from 5-8 p.m.
This free event will include a buffet dinner from 6-7:30 p.m. Among the featured activities planned, as part of the social event, will be: candle making, ornament making, face painting, cookie decorating and more.
Those interested in attending are invited to bring their entire families to enjoy the festivities. In an effort to support families in local communities during the holiday season, participants are encouraged to bring donations of canned goods that will be donated to local food pantries.
Shuttle service will be available to take visitors to Frost Valley, which is located at 2000 Frost Valley Road. From the Ulster County side, the bus will pick up passengers at 5:15 p.m. at the Big Indian Park and return at 8:30 p.m.
The Community Holiday Dinner and Gathering will be held in the Thomas Lodge Dining Hall. Admission to the event is free, but reservations are required for planning purposes. To make a reservation, please call 845 985-2291, ext. 205 or e-mail HolidayDinner@frostvalley.org.
