Frances M. Gray, 64, of Margaretville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009 at her residence. She was born May 13, 1945 in Margaretville, the daughter of Albert and Winifred (Robert) Wickham. She married Gilbert L. Gray on May 11, 1968 and was a lifelong area resident.
Frances was a retired bus driver for the ARC Program. She was an avid Bingo player and a person that touched many lives in the Margaretville community.
Surviving are a son, Scott Gray, Margaretville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Chrissy and Fred Haynes, Central Bridge and Jodi and Pete Zielinski, Buffalo; grandchildren, Jami, Jena, Cory, Kessia, Shondra, Daniel and Alex and a sister, Marjorie Kelly, West Plains, Missouri. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert Gray, September 10, 2007; a sister, Gayle (Toots) Jacobs and brothers, George and Gary Wickham.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Dec. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the New Kingston United Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 at the New Kingston United Presbyterian Church, New Kingston, with Shirley Davis officiating.
Burial will be later in the New Kingston Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Frances M. Gray may be made to New Kingston United Presbyterian Church or the Mountainside Residential Care Center, Margaretville.
