Fall Farm Day at Frost Valley YMCA
Claryville — All the wonders of agriculture life will be on display when Frost Valley YMCA hosts its annual Fall Farm Day on Sunday, Oct. 19 from 1-4 p.m. at its working farm in Claryville.
Admission is free and visitors of every age will enjoy many hands-on activities as they experience firsthand the daily operations of Frost Valley’s farm. Among the fun offerings will be meeting an array of animals and demonstrations of felting, candle making and spinning. There will also be live string band music.
Refreshments will be plentiful with cider, donuts, hot cocoa and the legendary Frost Valley Farm Chili among the items to be savored in the midst of the spectacular autumn setting in the Catskill Mountains.
Also available for purchase will be many of the items grown or made at the farm, including maple syrup, eggs, wool fleece, pumpkins and more.
