Energy-saving light bulbs offered to vistors at Alta

Halcottsville – Alta Log Homes is offering a free energy-saver light bulb to anyone visiting its models in Halcottsville and Kingston on Earth Day, April 22.

Alta, which is recognized as a leader in “green” building, is trying to enhance environmental awareness with the light bulb promotion. Each visiting family will receive one light bulb.
Alta is a certified participant in the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED) program. The company is actively involved in recommending Energy Star products and also is increasingly working with customers to incorporate solar energy into their home projects.

In another nod to the environment, for each plan book sold in April, Alta will donate a portion of the proceeds to Arbor Day Foundation.
