Delaware County Fair to open next Monday

The Delaware County Fair in Walton will open Monday and feature a demolition derby at 7 p.m.
Tuesday’s program will feature a free grandstand all day and night with the firefighters’ parade with bands at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday will be children’s day at the fair and the grandstand will feature modified truck and tractor pulling.
Thursday is senior citizens’ day with an all-day tractor pull. Thursday night is Thunder Night with an invitational big rig truck pull and a 4X4 stock truck pull at 7:30.
Friday is 4-H day at the fair with a demolition derby matinee at 1:30 p.m. and an evening demolition derby at 7.
Saturday will feature the New York State Championship pony pull at 11 a.m. and the 4-H livestock auction at 2 p.m. Saturday evening will feature music by country star Eric Church with James Otto beginning at 7:30.
General admission to the Delaware County fair is $6 per day for adults. Children 12 and under are free. A season pass is $18.
