Brunch, auction to kick off TMTP's season May 25

The Todd Mountain Theater Project (TMTP) is celebrating its 10th season of bringing fully-staged professional productions of new plays to the Catskill Community.  
To kick off this landmark season, the theatre company will hold a Memorial Day weekend brunch and live auction benefit at Cantina Restaurant in Andes on Sunday May 25 from noon to 2:30 p.m. Cantina is known for its Tex-Mex cuisine and friendly atmosphere. Local auction favorite Chuck McIntosh is the auctioneer! All proceeds will benefit Todd Mountain Theater Project’s August 2008 production “Cecilia’s Last Tea Party” by Russell Davis. Reservations are strongly recommended.  
Cantina Restaurant’s enticing buffet brunch includes chorizo and eggs, assorted quesadillas and mini burritos, and chicken wings. The $12 admission includes the buffet and entrance into the auction. A cash bar will be open for Cantina’s famous Margaritas and Bloody Marys. 
Auction items include eight Longyear Gallery artists contributions including Bob Axelrod, John Hopkins, Margaret Leveson, David Leveson, Helaine Manzo, Frank Manzo, Nat Thomas and Alix Travis. Wonderful catering opportunities, gourmet meals at Andes Hotel, Cantina, Fred’s, Peekamoose and Slow Down Food Cafe, facial and massage packages, antiques, beautiful crafts and services and an amazing tour of The Bronx Zoo. TMTP is currently the only company in the Catskills dedicated to producing new plays by contemporary playwrights. “Cecilia’s Last Tea Party” will be staged at Roxbury Arts Group on August 7 through 10 and August 14 through 17.
