Audrey Dipadova
Audrey H. Dipadova, 87, of Margaretville died Friday, March 2, 2012 at Margaretville Hospital.
She was born on February 20, 1925 in Crosby, England, the daughter of Ivor and Elise (Naylor) Ellis.
Audrey was married on September 9, 1973 to Anthony Dipadova at Stamford, Conn.
She was an executive secretary working for Baby World in Great Neck and Wayout in Flushing. She was a person who enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, and relaxing at home. She attended the Advent Christian Church in Margaretville. Audrey and her husband had a seasonal home in Halcott Center for 20 years before moving to Margaretville in 1996.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony (Tony) Dipadova, a son, Richard Rossi of Margaretville, a grandson, Steve Rossi of Astoria, and stepchildren Louis Dipadova, Linda Hutton, and Gina Dipadova.
Also surviving are grandchildren Theresa, Kurt, Kiana, Christopher and Alyssa, six great -grandchildren, one brother, two sisters in England, and one niece and four nephews.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. on Tuesday March 6, 2012 at the Advent Christian Church in Margaretville. The Rev. Harold Patterson officiated.
Calling hours were held at Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville on Monday March 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Committal services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Donations in memory of Audrey H. Dipadova may be made to Catskill Area Hospice.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville.
