Area Police News: September 5, 2012

Deputies from the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joshua W. Balcom, 25, of Margaretville on August 25 on the charge of third-degree criminal trespass.
Balcom was intoxicated in a public setting causing a disturbance at Summerfield’s Restaurant and Bar. Balcom was requested to leave the establishment on several occasions and refused to leave. Balcom was escorted out of the establishment, however he forcefully re-entered and continued to act in an unruly manner and remained unlawfully therein.
Balcom was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear before the Town of Middletown Court on September 10 at 9 a.m. to answer the charge.

Ashley C. Eignor, 22, of Halcottsville was arrested by state police on August 27 on a warrant issued by the Town of Middletown Justice Court charging her with writing a bed check.
Eignor was arraigned, paid restitution of $195 and was given 60 days to pay a $205 fine.

Larisa I. Guselnikova, 38, of Fleischmanns was arrested by state police on August 29 on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Middletown Justice Court on a bad check charge. Guselnikova was arraigned and released on her won recognizance to reappear on September 12.

Kevin M. Meade, 27, of East Meredith was arrested by state police on September 1 and charged with DWI after he was stopped on Route 23 in Stamford for a traffic violation.
Police say they charged Meade when his blood alcohol level allegedly tested .19 percent.
Meade was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Harpersfield Justice Court on September 17.

Jose L. Martinez, 22, of Fleischmanns was arrested by state police and charged with DWI, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and failure to keep right after the car he was driving went off the Little Red Kill Road in Fleischmanns.
Martinez was issued appearance tickets returnable in Town of Middletown Justice Court on September 20.

David B. White, 28, of DeLancey was arrested by state police on August 30 on a bench warrant issued by the Village of Walton Justice Court after he was stopped on Route 10 in Delhi for a traffic violation. White was turned over to the Village of Walton Police Department for further action on their part.
